Horizontal Form Fill and Seal HFFS Pouch Equipment

Horizontal Form Fill and Seal is a common way to package many foods, nutraceutical products and some industrial products. Integrated Horizontal lines will normally incorporate the following machines after the HFFS.

Coding: Usually incorporated into the filler. Either embossed or ink coded.

Inspection: These can include metal detection, check weigh, Xray or vision to identify products or packaging that does not meet quality standards.

Structure: Some horizontal filling equipment will need a mezzanine or work platform to support the feeder.

Robotic Palletizing: Automated palletizing is often found at the end of the line.
